Reading the sky…
Every twenty-nine and a half days the Moon closes with the Sun and opens away from it again. Astrology keeps that rhythm as a working calendar with two hinges: the New Moon, when the lights conjoin and a month’s intentions are set; and the Full Moon, when they oppose and what was begun stands fully lit — ready to be harvested, adjusted, or released.
The practice is old and simple. At the New Moon, name a small number of intentions — in writing, without ceremony if you prefer. At the Full Moon, return to the page and review honestly: what grew, what stalled, what wants releasing. Between the two, the waxing weeks favour building and the waning weeks favour clearing.
Instants are astronomical (universal time); your local calendar date may differ by a day.
